One of the toughest jobs of cleaning our twenty years' household is the hills of school works and home works of my two boys, who are teenagers now. I have kept the loads of paper in the basement since they were toddlers and I have thought that one day when I retire I would go through these papers. I never imagined that it comes so early in a totally different way. While I was exhausted with the moving, working and kids, I really enjoyed this task. I decided to recycle the Math, Science, English and Social Studies school work, and keep all art work and journals. Sometimes I sat in the basement for hours and roamed into their little growing mind from kindergarten to grade ten. It was an amazing journey review! My younger son is quite artistic (like his mother, Ha!) and he loves drawing cartoons. Below is one of his works after we took him to the Beaver Dam Golf Course, where the green is far away separated from the tee box by a canyon for one of the hole. I am awed by his imagination.
