Most likely this is the last winter in Calgary before we head to the Kukuland, and I am so thankful to see such abundant snow before Christmas, even though the traffic has been chaotic for the past two weeks in the city. There is no wind at all outside in my garden and the temperature is perfectly set at minus six. The snow flowers drift, spin and land peacefully on the wrinkled crab apples that are waiting for the birds coming back in the spring. Some of the snow flakes stand on apple branches or ever-green needles, while others prefer to surround the honey suckle berries, Saskatoon berries or Nanking cherries.
I love these snow flakes... Great shots :)
ReplyDeleteThank you for your encouragement. I am not a photographer at all. Only after the cropping, I started to see the beauty! Maybe I should take some photographing courses later.
ReplyDeleteOh! Your snow crystals are magical! They look like Tchaikowski's Dance of the Snowflakes! Beautiful photographs!
ReplyDeleteThank you, intlxpatr!
ReplyDeleteI guess a camera can help us to see something that we always over looked.
