Sauna

July 13th Tuesday

It was in June and I was still in Canada. I drove to the Sir Winston Churchill Pool every morning for swimming and sauna. The humid hot air in the sauna room got rid of the wetness and stiffness in my bones and joints. I asked my husband if there were any sauna rooms by the pool; and the ExploreMan answered, “Yes, there is a huge one.” Once I got here, I knew what he meant – the sauna is everywhere outside! In the afternoon and evening, the ceramic and granite tiles around the pools of the apartment building are nice and warm; I often lie on them after the swimming. When we went to aDawliah today (a good place to fix electronics that you carelessly plug an 110v appliance to 220v.) for our guitar amplifier, the heat from the air and the tiles of the pathway was like warm padding around your body. It was 53 degree and the air was dry. I can feel that my bad knees (due to bad genes and too much skiing) are happy! I decided to wait for the boys outside and enjoyed the heat.
